Sticky Base for Delta Traps: Precision in Pest Monitoring

The sticky base for Delta-type traps is an essential component in the selective monitoring of agricultural pests, especially lepidopterans and other flying insects. This card coated with high-adhesion glue was designed to effectively capture the insects attracted by the sex pheromone or specific attractants (purchased separately), installed in the centre of the trap.

Technical characteristics

• Folded card with adhesive coating on one side;
• White background with an 8 × 8 grid (2 cm each) to facilitate counting the captured insects;
• Compatible with Delta-type traps and mini-traps Jackson, and can be divided in half at the fold;
• Simple installation: just open the card and expose the glued side inside the trap, where you install the sex pheromone dispenser or attractant (purchased separately) to attract the target insects.

Usage recommendations

• Periodic replacement of the sticky base is essential to maintain capture efficacy;
• Dust, residues or an excess of captured insects reduce the adhesion of the glue;
• Whenever you renew the dispenser of pheromone, it is also recommended to change the sticky base to avoid chemical interference.

The product is sold folded and in a sealed pack containing 10 sticky bases.
