Yellow Chromotropic Roll - Effective and Sustainable Pest Monitoring in Greenhouses and Field

The Yellow Chromotropic Roll is an ecological and highly effective solution for the monitoring of flying insects, especially in protected crops (greenhouses) and in specific outdoor situations. Its intense yellow tone exerts a strong visual attraction on various species, allowing early and precise detection.

Technical Specifications

Material: Semi-hard thermoplastic resin in polystyrene (PS);
Dimensions: 100 metres long × 0.30 metres high;
Coating: Non-drying glue on both sides, resistant to moisture and thermal variations;
Packaging: Wound on a black plastic reel and protected by a non-stick film.

Recommended Application

Greenhouse crops: Install one line of chromotropic roll for each longitudinal line of structure supports;
Outdoor crops: Use in specific zones with a history of infestation;
Variable density: Adjust according to the target pest, type of crop and objective (monitoring or mass trapping).

Dose: 1 to 2 lines of chromotropic screen on each line of supports of the greenhouse structure (depending on the objective, crop density, season and intensity of attack).

Attention: Frequent monitoring and periodic replacement of the screen is recommended, especially in situations where the intensity of the level of catches reduces the ability of the glue to properly retain the attracted insects. The yellow colour may attract beneficials, namely bees, which may inadvertently be caught in the trap. Prior evaluation of each situation / target pest and the selection of other trap colours is recommended whenever this is possible for monitoring the target pest. Alternatively, you should consider other options for monitoring the target pest in situations where the use of the yellow colour results in high capture of beneficials in the trap.
