Standard Kit 2 - Tomato Caterpillar - Professional Monitoring for Treated Crops

The Standard Kit 2 for the tomato caterpillar moth (Helicoverpa armigera) was developed with 2 yellow funnel traps to ensure effective and continuous monitoring in horticultural crops and orchards under phytopharmaceutical treatment. Ideal for growers who wish to track the presence of the pest throughout the campaign, this kit allows two replacements of the pheromone dispenser, ensuring coverage during the entire crop cycle.

Crops:

Tomato plant and other solanaceae;
Other vegetable crops in open field or greenhouses;
Orchards with a history of infestation by Helicoverpa armigera.

This kit is a practical and economical solution for technicians and growers who wish to monitor the pest's flight, adjust treatments and protect production based on real field data.

Kit Contents (2 traps)

2 yellow funnel traps with transparent cup, suspension cord and dispenser cage;
6 sex pheromone dispensers (5.16 mg each) for monitoring the tomato caterpillar moth.

Dispenser durability:
Each dispenser has an average duration of 45 days, allowing monitoring of up to 135 days per trap.

Dose: 2 to 10 traps w/ dispenser/ha (depending on the objective, plot, crop density, season and attack intensity).

The kit is marketed assembled in a single package with assembly instructions.

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the pheromone dispenser after opening the sealed package. Adding 100 to 200 ml of water with a few drops of neutral soap or unused vegetable oil to the cup helps retain the captured insects inside the trap. Frequent monitoring and cleaning of the trap is recommended. Keep the pheromone dispensers cold (refrigerator or freezer) until the installation date.
